ArtPaie LLC (“ArtPaie”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit our website (“Visitors”) and individuals who register to use the Service as defined below (“Customers”). This Privacy Statement describes ArtPaie’s privacy practices in relation to the use of ArtPaie’s online website and the payment service offered by ArtPaie (the “Service”).
This Privacy Statement covers the information practices of ArtPaie’s website - http://www.ArtPaie.com. ArtPaie’s website may contain links to other websites. The information practices or the content of such other websites is governed by the privacy statements of such other websites. ArtPaie encourages you to review the privacy statements of other websites to understand their information practices. Other software, such as mobile apps, provided by ArtPaie are under separate Privacy Policies.
When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Service or registering to use the Service, ArtPaie requires you to provide ArtPaie with personal contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, and email address. When purchasing the Service, ArtPaie may require you to provide ArtPaie with financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, and credit card number. ArtPaie may also ask you to provide additional information. All of this information about Customers is referred to collectively as “Data About Customers”.
As you navigate ArtPaie’s website, ArtPaie may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and web beacons (“Navigational Information”). Navigational Information includes standard information from your web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on ArtPaie’s website (such as the webpages viewed and the links clicked).
ArtPaie uses Data About Customers to perform the Service requested. For example, if you fill out a “Newsletter” web form, ArtPaie will use the information provided to send you newsletters. ArtPaie may also use Data About Customers for marketing purposes. For example, ArtPaie may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interest in the Service and to send you information regarding ArtPaie, its affiliates, and its partners.
ArtPaie uses credit card information solely to check the financial qualifications and collect payment from prospective Customers. ArtPaie uses Navigational Information to operate and improve ArtPaie’s website and the ArtPaie Service. ArtPaie may also use Navigational Information alone or in combination with Data About Customers to provide personalized information about ArtPaie.
ArtPaie’s customer use the Service (ArtPaie online art inventory management service) to enter and manage information about their collections of fine artwork. ArtPaie’s use of such information is governed by the ArtPaie Terms of Service at http://www.ArtPaie.com/about/terms_of_service.
ArtPaie uses commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and web beacons, to collect information as you navigate ArtPaie’s website (“Navigational Information”). This section describes the types of Navigational Information used on ArtPaie’s website and how this information may be used.
ArtPaie uses web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about Customers and Visitors’ usage of ArtPaie’s website and interaction with emails from ArtPaie. web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular website tied to the web beacon, and a description of a website tied to the web beacon. For example, ArtPaie may place web beacons in marketing emails that notify ArtPaie when you click on a link in the email that directs you to ArtPaie’s website. ArtPaie uses web beacons to operate and improve ArtPaie’s website and email communications.
When you visit ArtPaie’s website, ArtPaie collects your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information. For example, ArtPaie uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which Customers and Visitors navigate ArtPaie’s website. ArtPaie also collects IP addresses from Customers whey they log into the Service.
ArtPaie may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on ArtPaie’s website. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. ArtPaie is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.
ArtPaie posts a list of Customers and testimonials on ArtPaie’s website that contain information such as Customer names and titles. ArtPaie obtains the consent of each Customer prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.
ArtPaie may share Data About Customers with ArtPaie’s contracted service providers so that these service providers can provide elements of the Service to you on our behalf. ArtPaie may also share Data About Customers with ArtPaie’s service providers to ensure the quality of information provided. Unless described in this Privacy Statement, ArtPaie does not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
From time to time, ArtPaie may partner with other companies to jointly offer products or services. If you purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly-offered product or service from ArtPaie, ArtPaie may share Data About Customers collected in connection with your purchase or expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s). ArtPaie does not control our business partners’ use of the Data About Customers we collect, and their use of the information will be in accordance with their own privacy policies. If you do not wish for your information to be shared in this manner, you may opt not to purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly offered product or service.
ArtPaie uses a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use Billing Information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on ArtPaie’s behalf.
ArtPaie reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if ArtPaie reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect ArtPaie’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
To facilitate ArtPaie’s global operations, ArtPaie may transfer and access Data About Customers from around the world, including the United States. This Privacy Statement shall apply even if ArtPaie transfers Data About Customers to other countries.
ArtPaie offers Visitors and Customers who provide contact information a means to choose how ArtPaie uses the information provided. You may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of ArtPaie’s marketing emails. Additionally, you may send a request specifying your communications preferences to support@ArtPaie.com. Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their account with ArtPaie or the Service.
Customers may update or change their registration information by editing their user or organization record. To update a user profile, please login to the Service. To update Billing Information or have your registration information deleted, please email support@ArtPaie.com or call +1.212.796.5887. To discontinue your account and to have information you maintained in the Service deleted, please email support@ArtPaie.com or call +1.212.796.5887. Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be handled within 30 days.
ArtPaie Customers may electronically submit data or information to the Service for hosting and processing purposes (“Customer Data”). ArtPaie will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such Customer Data except as provided in the ArtPaie Terms of Service, or as may be required by law.
ArtPaie will maintain appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards for protection of the security, confidentiality and integrity of Customer Data. Customer consents to the processing of Customer Data in the United States. Because ArtPaie uses the Service to maintain Data About Customers, this information, which is stored in the Service, is secured in the same manner as described above for Customer Data.
ArtPaie reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement. ArtPaie will provide notification of the material changes to this Privacy Statement through ArtPaie’s website at least thirty (30) days prior to the change taking effect.
